Daycare and Lodging Instructions

General Instructions for both Daycare and Lodging

  • Both Daycare and Lodging require a reservation in order for us to plan for proper staffing.
  • Drop off is from 7:00am to 10:00am so all the dogs are on similar schedules and the excitement of meeting and greeting all happens at approximately the same time. For an additional fee (see Rates page), we can arrange for drop off as early as 5:00am.
  • Full payment is due at drop off.
  • Pick up time is by 7:00pm. An estimated time of pick up is required at drop off.
  • For an extra fee (refer to Rates page), we can arrange for pick up no later than 9:00pm. The doors are locked at 9:00 and no later pickups can be allowed
  • For safety reasons, all dogs must be on a leash when in the lobby and when in the parking lot.
  • To avoid owner-protectiveness, please keep your dog safely away from other dogs while in the lobby and parking lot. We have found that dogs that are the best of friends during daycare can be owner-protective with each other outside the daycare environment.
  • Please do not bring extra items with the dog, including toys, crates, beds, or food bowls as we are unable to store them.
  • All dogs are required to remain healthy and current on vaccinations; updated vet records will need to be provided at enrollment and after updated vaccinations are administered. Our database checks vaccination records at each drop off. Note: Bordetella every 6 months can be easy to forget!
Special Daycare Instructions

  • Feeding: Daycare dogs are not fed while in our care. Exceptions to this are puppies under 6 months of age, medical necessity, those that have arranged for late pick up, or those that have paid an additional fee for daycare feeding (refer to Rates page) .
Special Lodging Instructions

  • Food and Treats: must be brought in individual pre-measured servings in zip lock baggies, clearly marked with your dog’s first and last name and date/meal at whch the serving is to be given (i.e. 4/24 breakfast).
  • Food Enticer: please bring a food enticer that may encourage your dog to eat if he/she has any difficulty eating due to the stimulation from other dogs. Recommended enticers include shredded cheese, cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, etc. Keep in mind that it is very important for your dog to refuel while being so active.
  • Medications: Must be clearly marked with dog’s first and last name and administering instructions. Please provide peanut butter, marshmallows, or cream cheese to make administering pills go more quickly and easily.
