Things to Expect When a New Daycare Dog Comes Home

Sore Pads
Running around on the playground may be tough on your dog’s paws, causing sore or abraded paws. This will lessen as they become adjusted to running on new surfaces.
Sore Muscles
Your dog will be having so much fun here at For the DOGS! that they may forget to pace themselves and get sore muscles. Over time this will fade as they adjust themselves to this level of exercise.
Exhausted
Due to the level of activity your dog will experience during their stay with us, you should expect your dog to be less active... most likely he/she will sleep more than normal for several days.
Thirsty
It is normal for most dogs to appear to be overly thirsty after a stay with us. drinking water is a form of de-stressing or relaxing for a dog and they need that after all the excitement they experienced during their stay.
Enthusiasm
Your dog's enthusiasm will grow as they adjust to the excitement of attending our center. You will quickly notice they are as excited at drop off as they are when you pick them up!
Happy Dog!
Their tail will be wagging and you may even see smile on their face. It’s their way of saying “THANKS” for bringing them to For the DOGS!
